Ski Companion Service
At True Alpine we are unique. We offer a FREE 5 FULL DAY SKI COMPANION SERVICE during your week’s stay with us at the chalet. To best enjoy the Espace Diamant ski area, Mark your ski host will find you the best snow and the most suitable slopes for your ability. It is like skiing with your very own living piste map. He is an experienced ski host and is happy for you to tap into his wealth of knowledge. He will accompany you to the slopes in the morning and then return with you at the end of the day. He is able to cater for all levels of skier but ideally the Ski Companion service would suit skiers who can ski blue runs and link parallel turns together at a reasonable pace and with a smile on their face!
Each day is organised around the group's ability and requirements and this will be discussed prior to the day’s skiing. Our Ski Companion service has been set up to maximise your skiing enjoyment. Skiing in a group is great fun and extremely rewarding and is a great talking point over dinner.

If your group has mixed abilities, Mark will accommodate in a way that everyone can enjoy their skiing. This may involve dividing the day up into different sessions but he will do his best to accommodate everyone.

Funnily enough I did used to work in an office many years ago before coming out to work in France.  I had many posters on the wall where I sat of mountains and skiing and always dreamt about working in that environment.   I am now very happy to Welcome you to my Office!

Typical first day's skiing with the ski companion:
I normally chat over breakfast with my guests about what their requirements are for the day and what they would like to achieve and then we normally aim to head off for the slopes around 9.15.  I take you on a short drive to one of our local ski resorts where you will take in some easy runs to get those ski legs going again!   After lunch we ski again until around 4.00pm before returning to the chalet for afternoon tea.

Now much warmer but skiing conditions are still amazing, more busy this week due to French holidays but great skiing everywhere

WHAT'S NEW for the 2011-2012 Skiing Season
  
New Lifts, Pistes & Snow Cannons in The Espace Diamant This Season.
Work has already started on a new high speed chair lift to Les Saisies from Crest Voland.  This is one of our regular routes during the winter season.  We are still waiting confirmation on another new chair lift which will improve the return route back to Crest Voland.  This will make it easier for all levels of skier and speed up access to and from Les Saisies.

Conditions
The Ski companion service is not a resort shuttle service. We are happy to take you to and from the ski areas as part of the Ski Companion service but there are local ski buses available if you choose not to take part in the ski companion service.

Guests are responsible for assessing their own capabilities and participate in the Ski Companion service at their own risk. Our Ski Companion is restricted to runs that are open and within the secure area of the resort. It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they are aware of the standard of the proposed route. This service is dependent on safety, numbers and conditions. The Ski Companion's decision is final. True Alpine does not accept responsibility for accidents or injuries incurred whilst skiing with our Ski Companion. The Ski Companion service is free of charge and is only offered if local regulations permit. We reserve the right to cancel ski hosting at any time
