Getting to St Nicolas La Chapelle

St Nicolas La Chapelle is just 1 hour 20 minutes drive from Geneva airport and 30 minutes from Albertville and is in the heart of one of the largest ski areas in France.

Both Easyjet and British Airways fly into Geneva. Once at the airport you can hire a car, catch a public bus or arrange a private transfer to the chalet. Public buses only run at certain times of the day and will only take you into the centre of Flumet.

If you prefer to travel by train, Albertville is only 30 minutes away. Once at the Albertville, you can take public transport to Flumet or arrange a private transfer to the chalet.

Our transfer day is a Sunday.

The main advantage to a Sunday transfer is that the majority of large ski companies do Saturday transfers, meaning that on a Sunday, life is far more relaxed.

  • Shorter transfer times to resort as the roads are less congested
  • Ski hire shops are quieter
