Ski Companion Service

We offer a Ski Companion service for 5 days a week. Mark, your Ski Companion is an experienced ski host and ski instructor. He is happy for you to tap into his wealth of experience. He will accompany you to the slopes in the morning and then return with you in the afternoon. On his day off there is a free local ski bus available that will take you to and from the slopes. The Ski Companion service will help you find the best snow and find you the best places to ski, it'll be like having your very own living piste map. We can cater for all levels of skier, but ideally the Ski Companion service would suit skiers who can ski blue runs and link parallel turns together at a reasonable pace and with a smile on their face!

Each day will be organised around the group's ability and requirements and will be discussed with the groups prior to each skiing day. Our Ski Companion service has been set up to maximise your skiing enjoyment. Skiing in a group is great fun and extremely rewarding and is a great talking point over dinner.

If your group has mixed abilities, we will accommodate in a way so that everyone can enjoy their skiing. This may involve dividing the day up into different sessions but we will do our best to accommodate all levels.

The service we offer is completely free charge.

Typical first day-

We will leave the chalet at approximately 9am. Take a short 10 min drive to one of our local resorts where we will take in some easy runs to get those ski legs going again! We will then ski until lunchtime. After lunch we will then ski until around 4.00pm aiming to get back to the chalet around 4.30 for afternoon tea.

Conditions

The Ski companion service is not a resort shuttle service. We are happy to take you to and from the ski areas as part of the Ski Companion service but there are local ski buses available if you choose not to take part in the ski companion service.

Guests are responsible for assessing their own capabilities and participate in the Ski Companion service at their own risk. Our Ski Companion is restricted to runs that are open and within the secure area of the resort. It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they are aware of the standard of the proposed route. This service is dependent on safety, numbers and conditions. The Ski Companion's decision is final. We do not accept responsibility for accidents or injuries incurred whilst skiing with our Ski Companion. The Ski Companion service is free of charge and is only offered if local regulations permit. We reserve the right to cancel ski hosting at any time.
